I actually love how expansive and expensive 'Moon' sounds, for a 2023 Perfume single it's quite amazing.
I echo all the love for 'Love Cloud', I actually think the sound of this song is going back to the Capsule - Lounge Designers Killer era of Nakata and it makes it almost more incredible because it feels like a return to his roots as a producer through a 2023 lense.

Ever since the Polygon Wave EP came out, they're officially 'back' in my mind. Plasma was a stunner from start to finish.
Sumikko Disco is out on streaming next Friday. It just got a radio premiere.

Funny that it's legitimately another banger but because of the cute video people just can't seem to find it anything more than, well, cute.
They are 3/3 for me this era, ugh I'm so excited. Nakata can pump these 80s electro-funk over and over again and I won't be mad.
I also like how kinda dynamic their melodies with these releases ? It's a bit more poppy instead of relying on flat, almost static melody especially in the verses.

Love Cloud got its TV debut in a collaboration stage with Daichi Miura (this is looking to become a yearly tradition, they did it last year as well with Polygon Wave).
And they recreated the FAKE IT music video for their Kohaku performance. They have their own countdown concert tonight so they went on earlier than usual.

It's just a font so I'm not saying "CoPiEd!1!", I'm just observing. Two faves, one font. And both adding Asian tour dates. We love to see it! Next stop for both: Europe, please!
