Pink: The Discography Rate ∞ WINNER!

Have a bit of a spotty history with P!nk. I was a stan during the I'm Not Dead era. My mom took me to see her when she played the House of Blues in Cleveland when I was 12 (god i feel so Old now) and it was my first non-arena/general admission standing show. Otherwise I've mainly enjoyed singles here and there. Pretty sure I've heard all of these albums at least once but I don't remember much of them outside of singles (excluding I'm Not Dead which I could never forget and Hurts 2B Human which I gave a try this year). Gonna try to do this before the deadline.

Looking forward to hopping into her discography with a little more thoroughness.

Started my preliminary scoring today, I’m surprised at how much of her discography I actually know, I really only have Hurts 2B Human and a few b-sides/bonus tracks to get acquainted with, so I should probably have my scores in by the end of the week.

On that subject, my first listen of H2BH was pretty enjoyable, the pre-release tracks definitely didn’t give a good impression and easily the worst. Definitely a lot better than Beautiful Trauma (which I will be giving a another look over).

8.250 - Funhouse
8.250 - I'm Not Dead
7.705 - Try This
7.678 - Hurts 2B Human
7.538 - Can't Take Me Home
7.375 - Greatest Hits... So Far!!!
7.333 - M!ssundaztood
6.975 - The Truth About Love (6.307 without bonus tracks)
6.615 - Beautiful Trauma
4.437 - Other

Basically confirms what I believed in I'm Not Dead & Funhouse being her best albums (and The Truth About Love being her worst).

You already voted? Great top two albums and I love seeing "Can't Take Me Home" higher on the list. And "Try This" will surely get some justice here, at least for some of its album tracks that deserve more recognition.

I'm having a hard time just thinking of the scores. The only thing I know is which songs will definitely get a 10, and there are a lot of them.

Ddd you mentioned this one so often, when I was looking at the song list for the first time, I had to check if it was there.
Me too lol!
It really represents the moment when I've seen and got aware of P!nk like the real singer P!nk, not just hearing her songs on the radio occasionally. Plus, SpongeBob SquarePants remains my favorite animated series and combining the two is just a bonus!
Never too late to include it, though!

My uncle - who likes big pop girls more than I do - recommended Pink's latest album to me yesterday so now I have no more excuse not to do this. His taste is a bit questionable but I promise I'd tell him what I thought of the album.

I started rating I'm Not Dead yesterday (because it's the album I'm most familiar with), and I thought it was very strong.

Funhouse is her only album where I don't feel forced to skip half of the tracks so I'm sure that one will get my highest average. My precious 11 is in I'm Not Dead though.

On the subject of M!ssundaztood, Dear Diary, Numb, Gone To California and My Vietnam better not be done dirty.

And tbh I love Catch 22 in all of its silliness
I agree so much! And you forgot the masterpiece that is "Eventually".
The entire second half of "M!ssundaztood" (except "Misery") is magnificent!

I'm really having high hopes that some of her most underrated album tracks will be able to shine in this rate.

I'm going to try and do this. I used to be a huge P!nk fan around the time of I'm Not Dead and Funhouse. Even though my opinion of her music has soured over the years, it will be fun to go back and explore her discography. I just need to get through my piles of corrections before the end of the month.
