It's a horrific song, and I think it will alienate her crazy cats.
What makes you say that? Her fans seem to love it, and the video. I dont know why people are acting like she hasn't dabbled in this genre before. It's similar to Doing Fine which I know the crazycats love. Or is it just because people dont want to like it?

I just watched the video and heard the song for the first time and I can't make my mind up about it, I think I'll either end up loving it or hating it, need a few more listens for that. For me, she hasn't had a really good single since Mama Do (Cry Me Out is the one I liked the most between then and now), she is such a good singer and this latest song really doesn't show off her voice at all

Oh yeah, and that haircut is dire!

In the past year i turned from being one of her biggest fans, to one of her biggest haters, i think the song is ok, but it kinda contradicts with why i loved her in the first place. It seems to me it is a desperate shot to get a hit.

he/him
The video for this is really terrible. She looks horrendous. Poor effort Pixie.

I do still think she has a shot against Leona though. It depends who books the most promo, I'd imagine.

He/Him
I actually really like the song, but then I loved her album which most people on here seemed to hate. The haircut, on the other hand, is utterly horrendous!

Its saving grace is that its a Doing Fine rip (that alone was the best track by far on the repack), its the right sound for her to have a massive hit and I hope she proves all the haters wrong. Hair is fab!

Why on earth would it? It's hardly a departure from what's gone before and if people are willing to make something as hideously awful as Mama Do a number one single then she's got a one-way ticket to $ucce$$ville!

The first live performace of the song

She sounds as good as on the track...kisses to the people who said that she would suck live!

You assume people think she sounds good on the record... That weird shakey voice thing she does at the end of certain lines is incredibly irritating.

that thing isn't what people call vibrato?

Vibrato should be free and not forced. I noticed that girls with naturally good voices, like Leona and Pixie, develope annoying habits, I suppose because they're confident and so lose sight of the fact that the post-X-Factor public likes things note perfect.

I just came on this thread to say that her voice is colossally irritating on this mediocre track. And yes her hair is terrible. It reminds me of what parents do to young schoolgirls when they come home with nits.

So ... her Vibrato sounds forced because she is confident? It would sound forced if she wasn't confident, and one thing people who love or hate her can't deny is that she is confident.

I saw the video for this last night (hadn't even heard it before) and it took me about 90 seconds to work out who she was.

I then promptly forgot and was reminded by the front page.

I almost forgot again before posting here.

Pixie Lott - the most forgettable popstar in the world...

I didn't like the song or the video, by the way. Almost offensively bland.
