And the excellent lead single from HIT ME HARD AND SOFT surprisingly misses a spot in the top 5. I really thought it'd make it, but oh well. Definitely deserved. I almost voted for this one, but even if I had given it one point or two (which was the most I would have given), it still wouldn't have made the top 5.

@devilpray (10) @unnameable (9) @GimmeWork (7) @Dangerous Maknae (5) @saviodxl (4)

Another song to surprisingly miss the top 5 is These Walls, an infectious midtempo bop which I believe most people agree to be the Radical Optimism album track with the most hit potential. Oh well.

oops seems I voted for the wrong Billie song

Also I’m assuming those are someone else’s 5 points for These Walls
I like "These Walls," but I didn't vote for it. Probably just whoever was above or below me on the spreadsheet?

Yeah I accidentally copied the wrong scores for These Walls from the spreadsheed, fixed now!

So those wrong scores for These Walls... well, here you go dd. LUNCH might have missed the top 5 spot, but at least a different Billie song made it. Personally, I definitely prefer LUNCH and found it a bit surprising this beat it, but then again considering how much it seems to be smashing right now, I guess it's not really that unexpected.

@bubblegum boy (9) @Rogue (9) @Maki (6) @Empty Shoebox (5) @daninternational (3) @saviodxl (2) @unnameable (2) @soratami (1)

At #4 we have Loreen's excellent new single. The Eurovision performance might have been a bit... questionable, but that doesn't make the song slap any less. I find Loreen a bit hit or miss, but in my opinion this is her best since the Ride album.

@happiestgirl (9) @pop3blow2 (8) @daninternational (7) @saviodxl (6) @GimmeWork (5) @4Roses (3) @soratami (1) @Trouble in Paradise (1)

At #3 we have, fittingly, three queens coming together to maximise their joint slay, with the excellent lead(?) single for Nelly Furtado's upcoming seventh album, which hopefully we'll hear more about soon.

That's likely my least fave song from Billie's album fff good for her I guess.

ܤܤܤ bet - mette ܤܤܤ
@4Roses (10) @daninternational (10) @X/S (10) @klow (9) @Aester (8) @Diet Pop! (8) @Oleander (7) @CorgiCorgiCorgi (2)

Remember when I said there was a song doing extremely well I hadn't even heard... well dd. I feel like this completely came out of nowhere, considering I don't recall really seeing it mentioned anywhere and it wasn't even played in the watch2gether, but I don't think it ever left the top 5 through the whole voting period. So congrats to METTE for, I believe, her first PJ charts top 5.

ܤܤܤ three-sixty - charli xcx ܤܤܤ

In the end it wasn't even close, with Charli's absolutely excellent 360 having both twenty-one more points and three more voters than the song at #2, and it would have been an even bigger difference if I had combined its votes with the "remix"'s (which I didn't because they're basically different songs). It was a very close call between this and Candy Paint for my top pick of the month, so I'm obviously very pleased with this outcome. An extremely deserving winner. (Again, had to write out the song title because the decorative text doesn't play well with numbers ff)

ܤܤܤ honourable mentions ܤܤܤ

guilty as sin? - taylor swift
l'amour de ma vie - billie eilish
pedro - raffaella carrà with jaxomy & agatino romero
sun - elisa tovati

I definitely expected PinkPantheress to chart, that's probably my biggest surprise here. I gave her a charity point thinking her cute lil 'a gift for the fans' song would gather a couple of high scores and safely make the top 40.

So nobody else voted for the best Eurovision song this year? I gave Silvester Belt 9 points, @Untouchable Ace where were you? Miley and her great cover nowhere to be found either. Mess.
Could've thrown Adèle Castillon a few more points but shame about that featured artist. I think these four are songs I voted for which didn't make it to the charts.

Thank you for another flawless hosting, @soratami! It would be my turn to host the June charts but I'm a bit too busy so I swapped with one of the hosts and will take on the July ones instead.

Eurovision songs didn't do amazingly well in general, I myself ended up not voting for any. I think by the time most people are actually voting, ie early June, they feel like old news a bit, plus there were a lot of actual May releases to vote for.
