While waiting for the new round to open... I did some stats of my own entries, and discovered, in the 78 regular rounds of PJ Retro/PJOPS I have participated in:
- I have never placed 9th, 20th, 30th, 35th, 36th, 37th, 38th or 39th (40th is my lowest).
- I have never submitted a song title beginning with the letters J, Q, V, X or Z.
- I have never submitted an artist whose name begins with the letters B (though I have submitted two beginning with 'The B...'), Q, W, X or Z.
- I have submitted 3 songs from one artist, and 2 songs from 3 different artists.
- I have submitted 6 songs that received at least 100 points, one of which came fourth, and none of which came third.
- Without checking each round, I have come last at least 6 times (is that a record?) that I remember.
- 30 of the 82 songs I submitted were by Australian or Australian-based (mainly New Zealand artists we have claimed) artists.
- The title of 13 songs I have submitted begins with the letter T (6 of which begin with 'The').
- The next most-used first letter of the songs I have submitted is I, with 8 entries.
- The average number of points I receive is 57.4
- The average position I come is 15.8, which rounds up to 16.
