Well, hello there. Just casually submitting my votes a couple of minutes before the deadline. Yeah, I totally forgot about it and then panicked earlier today when I realized I had a shitload of songs to listen to in just a couple of hours, and I was planning on getting drunk on the train.

I was going to submit it this round, but then I figured I was more in more of a teen-pop mood this month and then decided to wait. This is a totally EPIC song. Kudos to whoever sent this in, because I feel like it is (was) one of my well kept secrets and I've loved it since it was released, and never understood why it didn't blow up and Rhona became the next Brandy. I'm okay with this winning. Totally.

Neko Case is my third most listened to artist of all time on last.fm. Star Witness may not be my favorite on the album (Hold On, Hold On totally should have won PJSC!) but the entire Fox Confessor Brings The Flood album is stellar.
