David Bowie’s music has always been something I’ve just dabbled in. I like it, but have never really ‘gone all in’. That said, I can watch interviews with the dude until the end of time. He’s just super intelligent & a great communicator on so many subjects. I’ll watch an interview on YouTube every now & then… and then the algo will start shoveling the content to me. Before I realize it I watched like 10 segments with him. dd
I finally got premium Spotify like a year ago and only this round started trying the “similar artist” technique with little success so far. I literally have no list, short or long, of songs in the 00+ category! Maybe two I know would flop and don’t really love. I have to at least love it if I know it’s doomed haha.
Hence why I so rarely participate (and probably why I’ve never done very well). When I really want to join I’m always scrambling to come up with something, and so far it’s mostly been something I managed to remember.
…anyway one more vote for David Bowie being overrated. Five or so years ago he had a show here at the Brooklyn Museum and everyone was freaking out to get tickets and a spate of hipster parents were bragging about their kids being really into him and dressing them up like him for Halloween. It was a lot.
But… he died in 2016?!
Keep trying that function, or go to artists you like and click on their Radio playlist. It's full of related music.

Right. This was a whole thing a few years ago, I was even part of the "investigation", which involved stuff like IP address checks... a proper to-do. But as juicy as this was, in the end I believe it was debunked.
