PJOPS Retrochart w/e 01/11/80

Chartfile Summary w/e 1st November 1980:

An exciting top ten this week. First up, two new entries - Motorhead come crashing in at number ten with "Ace of spades" the first ever "Speed metal" single? At number five David Bowie's "Fashion" comes flying in with that guitar trying to knock out a tune - sounding like nothing else in the top ten! There's a brand new number one - written by The Bee Gees - "Woman in love" by Barbra Streisand knocks Queen off the top spot. The Police also fall to number three and surprisingly don't make it to number one with "Don't stand so close to me", meanwhile OMD are stuck at number four with "Enola Gay" - the rest of the top ten are heading down:
Stevie Wonder, Madness, Diana Ross and Kate Bush. What will happen next week - surely we won't have to wait for long??? Stay tuned!
