Pokémon

So I'm enjoying Violet so far but I also feel a bit overwhelmed. It's all so big and open, I'm worried I'll veer too far off from where I am meant to be heading.

I can’t believe only Ground is super effective against Electric and yet people have the audacity to bitch about Fairy.
As probably the world’s #1 Fairy type fan they really had absolutely no reason to resist Bug, the poor things (and no I don’t care about “lore” reasons, it’s not like it’s hard and fast scientific rules. Fairy is the cuteness type and Bugs are considered to be creepy/gross as per the ability Rattled).

But also Ground is weak to Water and Grass, two very common attacking types, with Water being extremely common and powerful, while Fairy is only weak to Poison and Steel which are very rare attacking types that are only ever used to stop Fairy itself. They should just bite the bullet and make Poison super effective on Water too so it gets more relevance, and Bug super effective on Fairy + resistant to it.

Wait, but this was about how Electric only has one weakness, ddd.

They should make bite and crunch normal type moves. There's no point in having a dark type on your team if everything and their mother can learn these basic ass dark moves.

Still, the same logic applies: Ground is like one of THEE premier attacking types.

I finally got to the credits and the end of the game is giving Kirby goes cosmic horror in the final hour teas.

the Time Machine isn’t actually a time machine right? Something’s not adding up…there are too many inconsistencies with the time line of paradox Pokémon and how the AI professor came into being. Plus whatever that unnamed crystal thing is.

all this talk about wishes and imagination… and coincidentally we have precedence of a dream world existing, which just happens to be from Gen 5…

How does Veluza move so damn fast in the overworld but only have 70 base Speed in battle

I guess it's down to its signature move boosting its Speed, 70 soon becomes 140. Varoom also moves super fast in the overworld (probably the fastest out if any Pokémon), so I was surprised to see it was actually quite slow in battle, but I suppose it's because of Shift Gear.
