Pokémon

I usually just wait until my gay ass catches the bulls attention. They all start roaring and I check them out. The fire/water one has its special effects different to the others.

Honeys who have completed the game, how hard is it to score:
-Ability Patches
-Herba Mysticas
-Tera Shards (as in, a lot fast)

- ability patches only drop with 6 star raids or higher. You need to rematch all the gym leaders and follow through with that storyline to unlock 6 star raids. So far I’ve only managed to get one!

- herba mystica drop with 5 star raids up, they’re kinda rare, not as rare as ability patches though. Some mons are more ideal for dropping multiple herba mystica than others apparently - like vaporeon.

- Tera shard drops increase in scale to difficulty of the raids. And you can also get a bunch in area zero by picking them off the ground, but idk if there’s any trick to getting a mountain of them quickly. They do just kinda stack up kinda fast eventually though.

My dumb ass thought Herba Mystica would be a rare drop in Area Zero or given by the paradoxes post game but GF was being funny. High level raids are so tedious to try farming.

Yeah they need to balance that out... tangent-but-sort-of-not: I've spent the last year playing 'live' F2P games like Unite and another mobile-rpg called 'Dislyte', and due to their model I've gotten so used to developers iterating their already released game in *huge* ways via standard, frequent patches that my brain needs to readjust to the fact that SV will only change so much between now and the DLC.

Things like a patch adjusting drop rates of items is totally reasonable to expect... but they also may not, simply because they don't have to. The money has been made. Unlike F2P games that need to keep you seated.

I'm not crazy about the tera-raids playability at the moment and I keep hoping they'll announce a patch where they adjust a bunch of its functionality and features but that's a big old pipe dream!

I'm still deciding who my Top 6 will be for the Elite Four. Glimmora and Frosmoth have definitely made the cut. Skeledirge meets the bar but I'm worried about her looks. Espathra is looking likely.

Clodsire, Toedscruel, Volcarona, Jumpluff, Rabsca, Ampharos, and Bellibolt are fighting for their lives. Wugtrio, Tinkaton, and Hatterene flopped and are banished to the Boxes.

Wow really? Tinkaton was like my MVP for most of the fights. I switched my team a bit between each of the Final 4/Geeta but Tinkaton never left. I think I ended up using her, Torkoal, Meowscarada, Gyrados, Glaceon, and Altaria the most.

Are the 5 and 6 star raids only online only? I want some Herba Mystica but I don’t need all that drama with playing with other people and being shaded for not picking the right Pokemon dd

Nah, but I think 6 stars don’t show up *that* often… like you may only get 1 or 2 a day natively.

But you could mess around with the date and time of your switch to get more, I guess.

Tryhards have reported that they prefer soloing 6-star raids with very specific meta picks. (Iron Hands, Gholdengo etc)

But normally, yeah. Can’t really imagine it being fun with AI. But if the AI dies you don’t get a time penalty: which is a huge plus.

Wouldn't 6 star raids be very hard to win relying on the AI partners?

I've done it but you do need to have some sort of stat boost or lower moveset and you have to wear the Ability Shield if you rely on that too. Sometimes it's better because, as above, your timer only goes down when you die and you can just run and try again if you're tanking.
