I'm normally the same but there was a lot of them distributed / available with Mythical and I banked most for this bigger set. Almost completed mythical bar a handful of cards just with the daily allowance so was worth it.
Same, I have tons of shop tickets, but no hourglasses. Waiting impatiently for the shop to reset so I can buy hourglasses dd.
Honestly it's not even like I'm saving them when I'd rather be using them, you simply get to a point where it's genuinely pointless to spend them because you're getting nothing but repeats 90+% of the time. And in that situation it just makes perfect sense to start saving them for when the next set drops. You can get a ton of shop tokens and hourglasses from the various missions too, those really add up.
Am I missing something or is the lake guardians trio kind of terrible? It seems like a cool concept for a deck at first glance but it looks like a lot of effort to set up, and extremely easy for things to fall apart since with just 70 hp any of the three can be one-shot by basically anything.
So far i've opened the regular two packs a day and i got full art Cresselia and Infernape EX.

I've not touched the new packs yet but did manage to save up enough pack points to buy Gyarados Ex and complete the Mythical Island dex this morning, giving me one shiny glimmer of hope at the end of this horrible month fff

I played with the trio rental deck and they are SO clunky. they needed more health to make such a dependent mechanic work. Cool concept but bad results.

I like Azelf on its own (bench sniping woo) but it’s a worse Hitmonlee. Mesprit really stinks. You pretty much only get one shot with it… and then what? ddd

I've been getting my life to the TCGP app over the past few weeks but I am totally and utterly clueless to how it works beyond opening packs and having a little cheer when I get holographic/ex cards. I just got a Palkia Ex card that animated, but I already had a Palkia Ex card - is it just the artwork that's different?
Also, now that the two new booster packs are in (which I'm loving, because it's brought down the chance of repeat pulls ), I can't seem to find the PIkachu/Mewtwo/Charizard packs in the app? Would be nice to try finish those decks if possible.
Sorry if this all seems totally silly, I'm usually confined solely to Pokemon GO on the phone. But the cards are taking me back to my childhood so I'm enjoying mixing it up.
SIDE NOTE: There's a Pokemon Card vending machine at the shopping centre across the road from me and I've bought a few physical packs too. Beats a Coke Zero!
