Sprockrooster (7) - That chorus is mindblowing, but the verses are a bit mweh.
evilsin (8) - Quite massive, isn't it? The little cowbell in the post-chorus is everything, mwah.
constantino (9) - Like Last Dance, this took a while to truly click with me, but when it did...oh honey. This is a lot of fun and it showcases Dua’s attitude brilliantly. Mwah.
Serg. (9) - Invented kissing.
Jersey (9.5) - Near perfect, it loses a 0.5 for the 'glass of wine' lyric. It's irked me since the first time I heard it. Oop.
Posh Spears (9.5) - Oooof that double chorus, the huge production, and the layering of her vocals… wig in another hemisphere.

Pia Mia is an artist who does nothing for me with her songs (they are good but I don't listen to them) but I can appreciate that she's a great performer.

Where do I even start with "Last Dance"? This is the song that started my Dua Lipa stanning journey. The Popjustice twitter account had been posting about her for a while but I never paid attention, until one day I was like wow he's posting about this girl a lot maybe I should give her a chance. I decided the next time he tweeted about her I would click on it. That next time happened to be a link to the "Last Dance" music video. I watched it and was instantly gripped. The percussion! The breakdown! I was like damn who's this girl basically rapping her verses over a pop banger??? She had charisma, swagger, looks, vocals. I had not been this excited about a new Pop Girl in a really long time. This song also started my Popjustice Forum journey because even though i've been reading the blog for like a decade now I never stepped foot on this side of the site. I literally joined the forum because no other place on the internet was talking about her and I needed a place to geek out. I probably wouldn't have been this taken by her right away if "New Love" or "Be The One" were the first songs I had discovered. Anyway, I honestly thought this song wouldn't do well in the rate since people are always dragging it in her thread so i'm glad it made the Top 10.
evilsin (8) - Wow at that note in the middle 8, goosebumps. The breakdown is nice as well.
RMK (8.5) - Amazing bop, although ‘Hotter Than Hell’ is the superior version.
Serg. (9) - Queen of high notes.
Jersey (10) - That, "was it worth ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT-OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH?", note is worth the 10 alone.
Posh Spears (10) - Among the basic ones on the album, but I was instantly hooked the first time I heard this. Love that it builds from its reserved, atmospheric verses to that awesome chorus that always makes me wanna dance. Mess at this being either the second track or the final track depending on which version you own. Like... that’s a really big difference dddd.
constantino (10) - I didn’t like this as a single (and still don’t), but I love it as an album track. So seductive and feverish - there’s a great energy to this track. EDIT: This really pops off, doesn’t it? WHEW.
Kuhleezi (10) - This, ladies and sissies, is how you do a breakdown. Predictably, this wasn’t received well at first because it was certified tin-foil hat, but I’ve seen many people come round to it in recent times so you can find me over there, praying for the mighty power of the #MusicNotTheBling.
