I've read a lot about this book lately. Something that it's one of those few books that live up to the hype? I don't even know what it's about, just that the author wrote The Martian so I guess it's spacey?

I'm almost halfway through Mistborn 3 and I believe Miss Sanderson went to a writers workshop or something before working on this one. The glow-up in his writing is palpable. I'm still ignoring his other books when I'm done with this. Still gagged he scammed his way to the top of the genre with this fffff
It is seriously very good. It's so fun to learn what's happening along with the protagonist, there's multiple queens exhibiting queen behavior, and the narrator is both hilarious and sympathetic.

Your praise of this Sanderson Sister intrigues me.

It lives up to the hype. I promise.

I just devoured Bolla by Pajtim Statovci - wow what a novel. A doomed (gay) romance set in the mid 90’s in Kosovo, with a looming war. Totally brilliant yet bleak, I couldn’t put this down. I have just ordered his other two titles, with anticipation!
It’s on my bedside table so maybe I’ll get to it in the next 6 months lol.

Okay for those who have digested Project Hail Mary, I just got to the end of the chapter where
they almost destroy the ship while orbiting Adrienne and ROCKY SACRIFICES HIMSELF and that PC Music motherfucker better pull through.

He/Him
Animal Farm is so gaggy. At the end I felt really smart cause I thought "this is kinda like Stalin huh?" and then I read the Wikipedia page and yup it was!!

I finished Project Hail Mary. "Audible hopes you've enjoyed this program.".128kbps is iconic. Fuck Amazon but what a great little app.

I loved it so much. I have thoughts. I share. Later. Thank.

But for now I feel empty inside. I'd rather live in Grace's universe where social cooperation is a thing.

Now reading Project Hail Mary and I'm on chapter 4. It grabs your attention from the first page, it's mysterious and I like it. I love movies like Interstellar, Gravity... And I never realised The Martian was based on a book.
Ahhh I'd love to hear your thoughts as you get further into it. It's so engaging! I'm still thinking about it days after completing it.

On to Flowers for Algernon because I feel like crying.
I underestimated the crying-inducing powers of this book
