I highly doubt it.Will Trump pardon all the J6 idiots like he said he would?

Then men on the left should really do something about this. Because men often murder women who voice opinions they don't like, and I'm not volunteering for that.I think the left has some serious rethinking to do about how they approach the topic of men, and I worry people are too uncomfortable to do that. There's a strong thread of misandry running through leftist messaging that I feel like people ignore or prefer not to address. Speaking as someone who wholly supports feminism as an equality movement, I don't have to dig very deep to find very loud voices that even put me off. This whole thing where people see the male Gen Z population flocking toward alt-right voices, throw their hands up and say, "Damn they must all hate women!" as though that's the end of that discussion is clearly ineffective.

There is already a left-wing mirror response to this alt-right ecosystem, it's in Hasan Piker, DSA etc which function as left-wing communities for anomic lonely young men trying to find their way basically. But the problem is that there is a hard limit on how popular those things can be, simply because a much bigger number of that demographic finds the rightist thesis more appealing.I think the left has some serious rethinking to do about how they approach the topic of men, and I worry people are too uncomfortable to do that. This Texas representative says everything I've been thinking
I agree with and understand a lot of that, and that does seem especially relevant for those who've been radicalized. There is already a left-wing mirror response to this alt-right ecosystem, it's in Hasan Piker, DSA etc which function as left-wing communities for anomic lonely young men trying to find their way basically. To answer your last point, this male revolt against feminism is rooted in hatred of women, of how they are "taking over" jobs, education, etc, and aren't subservient enough anymore. The extremist chans flooding with violent misogynists aren't a result of too many "the future is female" t shirts and "misandry" jokes on twitter, it's because the real movement of women's emancipation upsets and scares them. You will never satisfy this radicalized young male demographic unless you literally push women back into the kitchen. And you can't reason with them once they're radicalized, if you defend women in any way you are a cuck, white knight, whatever, it's a bottomless pit.
It should be the economy, finances, the working class, etc. Democrats need to hunker down and find messaging that works around that. We know that the working class includes liberal women, LGBTQ, et al, but running the platform on identity politics is no longer viable, as depressing as that is. To me, the numbers on abortion rights last night prove that. The public opinion is there but it doesn't directly translate to votes. Trump's wins in 2016 and yesterday are reflective of protecting "me and mine" being the top priority for a large number of the voting demographic, specifically as it relates to their cost of living. Obviously Trump's policies will be a disaster in that regard, but the rhetoric is enough.start having a conversation about how we can cut into this very clear surge in men who will NEVER find common ground with us.
Babe. There aren't enough of us. That's why.I'm sorry but who has the time and energy to try to deprogram/educate them hoping they'll come to their senses and turn around. They made their own bed. Let them rot with the consequences.
No, it's shorter attention spans, a lack of critical thinking and people flocking to things that confirm what they already think instead of finding something to challenge their ideas. And it's only going to get worse in the hands it's in now.First of all, I’m so sorry to all of the American PJ-ers that have to go through this.
Regarding the problem of right-wing propaganda taking over America, isn't it sadly a natural problem of the size of the country? Right-wing messaging and propaganda is a lot easier to digest, making it more scalable and the socialist states I can think of that were able to do it through more or less peaceful means have more manageable sizes. I'm not totally well versed on US Politics, but from what I've read, isn't it "easier" to make material changes on the federal level?
Well, maybe the acting gig ain't so bad after all, Stef! The last two Gaga albums are mentally so linked to the Trump victory time, and the pandemic, that the new single tonight feels like an omen of what’s to come.
