Lol, wow. They're far and away the most sugar-addicted state, surely. The number of obese elders chugging away at Mountain Dew (#1 for sure) or sugared Monsters or something from Fixxology or Pick Me Up followed by a "cookie" from Crumbl that has 700 Calories in a single cookie. They're delicious but fuck.
So I fully expect this to make Utah a boon for the dental industry in the coming years. What a weird ass place, honestly. Love Salt Lake City, great vibe, super gay, wonderful, but the cultural majority of the surrounding state have really become a special, reverent, sugar-rushed kind of unhinged. The state's politics feel so Facebooky.
If only I had the wherewithal to become a dentist and live in Utah...
Oh 100%, as someone who grew up in the Mormon corridor it's wild to see how this has become so obvious with this whole new crop of sugar-infused businesses. Especially since I know damn well caffeine used to be a no-no and all the adults around me used to drink caffeine free Diet Coke, I guess the church leadership quietly decided to let the faithful go crazy with the caffeine as long as they keep hating gays and forking over that sweet investment capital.A big reason for this is that Mormons don't drink alcohol or coffee, so many turn to sugar as their drink/addiction of choice. Not saying that this is in any way healthy or good, but Utah also has by far the lowest alcohol, coffee, and nicotine consumption/use of any place in the USA, so it's far from the unhealthiest state or place to live.

President Trump told NBC News on Sunday that he was “not joking” about the possibility of seeking a third presidential term, suggesting that there were “methods” to circumvent the two-term limit enshrined in the Constitution.
One of Trump’s allies in the House, Representative Andy Ogles, a Republican of Tennessee, introduced a long-shot resolution to amend the Constitution to provide him with a pathway to a third term. Ogles argued that Trump needed more time to accomplish his agenda and reverse the policies of the Biden administration.
Amending the Constitution to get around the limit would be a very tall order. Swipe through to learn why and read more on the history of the 22nd Amendment at the link in bio. Photo by @nytmills
If you look at history, changing the constitution to maintain power after the initial term is step #1 on a dictator's playbook. It's how Putin started. And I think the writing is on the wall for the US to become an authoritarian regime. That also needs constitutional change.
12th amendment:
Not that they've bothered with the constitution until now.
