If it means they're finally getting the fucking message that people are hungry for younger leadership that can respond to stuff faster then I'll take it atp.
So I assume Centrist Dems are already scrambling to figure out which younger figure they need to rally behind to counter any momentum AOC gains during the Trump Admin.
I kinda think he could nn. For the record I don’t like him.
Purely anecdotal but I grew up in heavily Christian conservative circles and unknowingly witnessed all the groundwork being laid for this bullshit (I’ll write a book someday nn). One of my best friends at the time also did, he eventually went into the Army (quelle surprise) and we fell out of touch. I looked him up years later expecting him to be full Trumpy, so imagine my surprise to find he not only supported Petey Boots but was volunteering for his campaign. His parents were basically survivalists who thought the end of the world was imminent so this was a HUGE progression for him, and I think about it a lot when I see Pete making his inroads on Fox or wherever.

I honestly don't know. I get to see edited clips on YouTube, so I prefer to remain cautious and casual. He seems impressive, especially in the Jubilee video where he had to fight off fifty MAGA loons. When Fox News started attacking him a few days ago, I took that as a good sign.

Yeah, he's a centrist Democrat who was part of the Biden administration. I think that would count against him much more than his sexuality. People want change from the establishment. (I know a lot of straight men who would vote for him, for what it's worth, but they would vote for any Democrat.)
