Henry usually barks at anything that moves on the tv, but for some reason we’ve realised he absolutely loves otters. He sits in front of the tv as close as he can possibly get and just watches them for ages.

We bought him a teddy otter for his birthday and his reaction says it all! He never leaves it alone it’s adorable. He also hides it before bed every night so nobody can take it. Cutest ever.

Love that little stinky puppy so much, he really does feel like one of my kids, ha.

Since July we have a cat and he’s beautiful. I’ve always had a dog when I still lived at home, so I was always used to them, so colour me delighted Nootje acts like one too. Plays fetch and everything.

I’m trialing a cat for adoption at the moment and there’s no chance I’m letting him go. He’s my first pet on my own as an adult and I’m a bag of nerves. I haven’t named him yet so any suggestions are welcome.

Spoiler for below; sad but I am hoping for a good outcome.

My dad went to the vet again with one of the cats that lives with my parents. He was been having some issues the past months and recovery is slow. He’s still in a lot of pain, we can all see it from how he moves his legs and got another shot of antibiotics and more stuff. Hopefully he recovers, the vet said they might want to release him from his suffering.

This made me very sad and I went to them as soon as I heard to cuddle and wish him for a speedy recovery. Can you ever be ready to let a sweetheart go? I don’t think so. So I am doing my best to stay positive and hope he makes it. He’s only 14 years old.
