The Belle Stars climb from 11 to 5 this week with "Sign of the times":

Congratulations to Kajagoogoo who have their debut week at Number One with their debut single called "Too Shy":

Kajagoogoo have the new Number One this week as “Two shy” jumps from 5 to 1 – they’ve done it with their debut single! Meanwhile former Number Ones Men at Work and Phil Collins slide down the top ten along with Joe Jackson. Eddy Grant is stuck at Number Two with “Electric Avenue” but everything else inside the top ten is climbing: The Belle Stars, Level 42, Michael Jackson, Wham! and Echo and the Bunnymen – is there a future Number One amongst that lot?
This week’s highest new entry comes from Tears For Fears with “Change” at Number 38. They also have the longer runner on the chart with the former Number One “Mad World” which goes down from 33 to 49 after 19 weeks!

Next Week could see new entries from Depeche Mode, Thin Lizzy, Musical Youth, Spandau Ballet, Eurythmics and Joboxers – stay tuned!
