Shall I use this top twenty for the next chart w/e 29/01/83?

Yes as you like it. I don't know how I do that exactly - swift to your charts and just add the Austrian / German / European songs I liked from our charts would be the best way, I guess.

Edit: I think I'll take this as start and you'll get my updated votes for the next week 29/01/83.

OK I'm planning on continuing to reveal the charts for 29/01/83 and into Feb tomorrow so if you post before I do so they will count towards the combined chart!

You have to explain. I have to send in my votes for next week before you publish them? But I don't know them before you publish them?

Sorry the thread is probably buried.

Here is the link (it's also linked at the top of this thread).

https://forum.popjustice.com/thread...ary-1983-w-e-29-01-83-post-your-charts.69887/

If you want to post a new chart in that thread it will count to the combined chart. Otherwise I will use the top 20 you have posted above and that will count for the w/e 29/01/83.

Chartfile w/e 22nd January 1983:
Men at Work make it two weeks at the top with "Down Under" while Phil Collins is stuck at Number Two and Laura Branigan remains at Number Three. Elsewhere inside the top ten are climbers Abba, Eddy Grant, Wah! and The Belle Stars. Heading down are Joe Jackson, Madness and Culture Club. Next week we've got some new blood in our Retrochart - yah! and welcome to @Filippa - we hope you enjoy life in the Retrochart Club! Will Phil Collins rebound next week? Only @phoenix123 has the answers - stay tuned!

Strange thing with Joe is he had these two huge singles in my life

He is an unusual artist for me. I absolutely love around five of his songs and that’s it, I couldn’t care less about the rest.

‘Steppin’ Out’ was pure glamour for me back in 83/84 and sounded so American for some reason.

This is my other absolute favourite - this is the live version and official video I think. That intro.....
