  14. This week's highest new entry is at Number 13 for Michael Jackson and another single from "Thriller" - the beautiful ballad: "Human Nature" was written and features the guys from Toto. Released in the USA but not the UK (yet) as a single:

Eurythmics get their third top ten hit of the year with "Who's that girl" up from 16 to 7 this week:

The Police leave The Freeez frozen at Number Two as "Every breath you take" gets it's seventh week at Number One:

    Cubfile:
The Police’s “Every breath you take” gets its seventh week at Number One and is still looking strong as The Freeez get stuck at Number Two with “IOU” and with Paul Young at Number Three again – the top 3 are in deadlock! Sylvian and Sakamoto are stalled at Number 10 making it four records inside the top ten not moving this week. However, climbing inside the top ten are Culture Club, Men at Work, Eurythmics and Malcolm McLaren. Heading down are XTC and Heaven 17.
Michael Jackson wins the battle over The Police for this week’s highest new entry as “Human Nature” comes in at Number 13, whereas “Wrapped around your finger” enters at Number 19
The longest runner on the chart is still “Blue Monday” by New Order, which is sliding down the chart this week from 44 to 46. They’ve chalked up 19 weeks in total on the chart.

Next Week could see new entries from Wham!, George Benson, Bruce Foxton, Tracie, Kim Wilde, Elton John, Level 42, The Kinks and Talking Heads – stay tuned!
