Urgent is just synonymous with 1982 for me, so I'll probably be the only one charting it then on re-release.....or maybe not!

Well, I'm glad to see the Stones smashing again this year, at any rate. I wonder if we can get "Waiting on a Friend" into the top 10 too? I really like that one.

Count me surprised too that "Girls on Film" didn't do better, though. Ah well. Calling it now - "Hungry Like the Wolf" is going to be their first #1.

The next couple of months are going to be tricky for me, as:

(1) there are too many records I want to put at #1 and not enough weeks to go around
(2) some acts seem to be putting out singles in very quick succession (Human League, OMD, Police)

The Human League make it three weeks at Number One. all the top four remain static with ELO, Soft Cell and OMD. Climbing up are The Rolling Stones, Genesis, Foreigner and The Pointer Sisters. Going down are Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet. Can Simple Minds and Dollar crack the top ten next week - they're getting very close! Will Adam and the Ants come straight in at number one with their brand new single "Prince Charming"? - Stay tuned!

Funnily enough, Ghost in the Machine is probably my least favourite album of theirs - Synchronicity was where they really nailed their new direction, I think. Still, "least favourite Police album" is not saying very much at all in my book. The singles will smash, at any rate - wonder if they can finally get a #1?

All their five albums are excellent imho! They were a great singles band as well!

No! Neither are duets though the american duet you may be thinking of still has a chance. Can't think what the other duet is?
