I never knew I was such an ABBA stan…..

If my Retrochart had existed for 1975-1980, I think ABBA would have had a ridiculous number of #1s for me. By the time of Lay All Your Love and even Super Trouper, they weren't putting out the type of singles that appealed to me quite as much (although they are not completely done yet, with the rest of 1981 and 1982 still to do).
 
I've been a bit of a naughty cub tonight, and finished off adding all the data for my 1981 Singles Log, so everything's ready for the rest of the year now. Things are going to get REALLY competitive at the top of my charts between now and Christmas!

ABBA's 3 week run at the top ends this week as they mirror The Specials fall of 3 places. The gap is smaller than ever between the two but three singles performed even better this week…..
