Depeche Mode make further gains and have a commanding lead over the rest of the top ten this week as Hall & Oates see chances of a third #1 slip away thanks in part to Pete Shelley.
Olivia Newton-John returns to the top ten looking to hit the top for the second time. Christopher Cross and Mondo Rock continue to climb. Neither act is a stranger to the top 5 so could go further still.
Prince matches his previous peak of #10 this week, Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad had a single week in the top ten last year. Controversy has wasted no time in reaching the top ten in only a month and looks to be his biggest hit yet after his last two singles Uptown and Dirty Mind disappointed in missing the top 30 entirely.
