So Kim Carnes equals the record set by Ultravox only a few months ago with a 7 week run at the top. Will she set the record next week and be the first 2 month chart topper?

Chartfile:

Kim Carnes makes it seven weeks at the summit with "Bette Davis Eyes" - can she makes it eight weeks? Vangelis is stuck at number two as The Specials shoot up to number three with "Ghost Town" Adam and the Ants are stuck at number four. Going up are Ultravox, Phil Collins and Bob Marley and the Wailers. Heading down are Smokey Robinson, Toyah and Kim Wilde. Will "Bette Davis eyes" make it eight weeks for a record? Stay tuned!
