Chartfile w/e 28th November 1981
We have a brand new Number One: Queen & David Bowie's "Under Pressure" climbs to the top and breaks the record for the highest weekly score. Meanwhile The Police may have fallen to Number Two but their weekly score on any other week of 1981 would have kept them at the top. The same could be said for the Number Three single this week Earth Wind & Fire's "Let's Groove" which is a non-mover. Climbing up are Kim Wilde, The Pretenders, Ultravox and Haircut 100. OMD rebound to Number 7 this week whereas Altered Images are stuck at Number 6 and Olivia Newton John's "Physical" heads southwards - her next single will be the excellent "Landslide" - stay tuned!
