I'm not even halfway through the list, and with all the rates and song contests going on, it's a great idea to extend the voting period.

Also, I totally forgot to share some of the songs that nearly made my 5 picks. Will do that over the weekend.

I’ve done it. (FYI, the mods in charge of that list are @ohnostalgia and me.)

@WowWowWowWow, I didn’t know if you were planning to keep it open until the final or just the first semifinal, so I’ve put down the deadline as May 18.

Thank you @londonrain for adding it — let’s call the deadline the 22nd at 11:59pm Alaska time (this should give everybody else a few more hours after the Eurovision final ends to wrap up your votes).

Sorry @WowWowWowWow, someone actually told me about your rate last week, but it completely slipped my mind to add it to the queue.

We put rates from other sub forums on the schedule. There are definitely people in Charts & Rates who are not regulars of the Eurovision and K-Pop subforums, but would be interested in specific rates from them.

With all the rates around the forum (and presuming there will soon be a Eurovision 2021 contest), I think the best option is to put this on hold and potentially re-open after Eurovision finishes this year.

I didn’t want to cancel it outright out of respect for the people who submitted nominations, and I know it falls on me as the host to drive up enthusiasm, but it has become a bit tumbleweedy around these parts.

I think this is fine! The ESC subform rates aren't quite so tightly policed, so no reason not to re-kick it off as a PED cure

I am glad you made this decision, because I was not sure if I could make it. Re-opening after Eurovision might be the best thing here, so we could potentially sob about the fact it's Bern 2022.
