Welcome to the third part of the rate. The rules are simple, and similar to each rate you have previously witnessed (or not) on this forum.

    1. Give each song from the list below a score between 0 and 10. You are allowed to use half points (but not 10.5). You may give the sacred score of 11 only to one song from the entire list.
    2. Feel free to provide commentary. While not compulsory, it's always fun.
    3. Many of the songs have been released in multiple versions. Score your favourite, even if it's a Carl Craig C2 Juiced Remix. Note: where available, links below point to official videos rather than album versions of the songs.
    4. We are not rating unreleased tracks and demoes, even if they are to be found on the Further Listening CDs. The only exception is 'Baby (demo)' due to its official B-side status.
    5. When you are done scoring, commenting etc., send a PM with the Results to @Ray and @Future Lover

The deadline is May 31 (Friday), 23:59 CET. Reveals, shall all go well, will begin on June 1.

Does anybody have the Yes cover in sensible resolution? For some reason I only found 500x500 images or 600x600 with a changed font, which will not do.

Apols for non-chronological poll options, there is no way to reorder them once it's posted.

  5. Well the Brits medley is obviously gonna win, haha. Maybe it's not too late to ditch it?

Glad we're on - welcome, everyone!

  6. I didn't participate in the first two rates but I think I'll take part in this one. I'm not that familiar with most of the PSB discography, but I did enjoy the Yes album a lot back in the day.

Craporama, looks like the Dropbox links to images don't work, which would mean @Future Lover will have a more difficult time co-hosting with me... Or is it just my laptop?

    Anyway:

    1. Electric
    2. Fundamental (original tracklisting)
    3. Yes
    4. Elysium

    666. LIDL

If I were to add Agenda, it would be #2.

  9. Thanks for organising another rate Ray. I will definitely take (a)part.

    In the meantime, ranked:

    Elysium
    Fundamental
    Yes
    Electric
    Super

  10. Very excited, I missed out on the first two parts but have no shortage of opinions when it comes to all these albums (and some seriously bonkers b-sides)

    5. Elysium

I haven't listened to 'Elysium' in years actually. I wonder, now that there's a few years distance, how I'll reassess it.

Parts of it are wonderful. Other parts... Aren't.

  15. It'll be interesting to actually find out my own scores, because this is the part of their discography I'm mostly unfamiliar with. Agenda peaked my interest again, but alas...

  16. Yes is my favourite. I love Elysium, probably will be one of the highest scorers, but I don’t really enjoy Super although it has some redeeming tracks in it. And I quite like Fundamental and Electric. So I’m quite excited to see what my averages will be - I have no clue!

  17. Elysium will definitely have my lowest average but also contain one of the few contenders for my 11.

I think the medley should go. I added it last moment, but I don't think it really belongs in the rate. Opinions?
