Firstly, that doesn't sound like Rachel.
Secondly, it's a reasonably good song anyway.
Thirdly, a quick Google for the lyrics takes me to this random Myspace page: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=26277493 and note how the lyrics read:

and yet in the song the "with Chelsea" bit is awkwardly cut out.

XOlondon, it has been reported in all the press (well, not the BBC) that she's trying her hand at acting now. I'm not saying that out of spite but it's likely - I liked Come And Get It but you cannot flop that badly and still release music. I would be shocked in Rachel was still trying to be a pop star after bombing so hard.

I love Rachel, but even as a fan I can see clearly has little chance of continuing her musical career. Yes she was touring last month. Touring does not mean she is going to record a new album. And where was she touring? Univerisities and local radio "Party in the parks" probably.
She's not touring to perform monologues or one-woman plays... she's touring to perform her music, therefore she has NOT given up music. Yes, she wants to try her hand at acting, but obviously she's still into her music career as well.

Her pop style isnt what the country is... well was buying last year, hense the poor sales and chart positions.
But the people who did give it a chance will tell you that Come and Get It was a brilliant album.
If she was to have released it later this year, it might have done better, with pop music making a comeback, with the likes of infernal and Rogue Traders etc...

Regardless, I think there are only rumours about her giving up music. I've also heard rumours of a 4th album. Either way nothing's been confirmed.
Perhaps she should concentrate on TV and acting at the mo, it can't be doing her self esteem much good having her and her music bashed as badly as it is being. People might also see her in a different light (rather than bland, FHM fodder, boring, talentless and whatever else) and that would help her profile. The album was a good album, and one of the reasons it didn't do well was because it was a Rachel Stevens album (unfortunately)
