So like I said we haven't had a Wizards of Waverly Place elimination since #91, so does Demi lose a second song or does Selena get her first elimination?

Info: "Remember December" was the second single from Demi's second album
Here We Go Again. On her debut, she worked with the Jonas Brothers but wanted to do this album on her own, calling this song an example of the kind of music she'd like to do going forward. Demi talked about the shift in sound with this single:
"I love this song for many reasons. It had a different sound than a lot of my songs. I related to it personally more than other songs, and I have so much fun with it. I thought if it could be a single that it would be incredible to perform it all the time ... What stands out about the song is that I can dance to it and rock out to it, which is ultimately my goal. I was just so excited when I heard this one, 'cause it's the epitome of where I want to go with the future." The track and most of the album were produced by John Fields, who has also worked with Miley, Selena, and Delta Goodrem among others. The song-writing was handled by Demi and Anne Preven who is known for writing "Torn" and has recently worked with artists such as Lea Michele and Leona Lewis. Demi says the song is a girl's ode to breakups and reminding the guy how they messed up but also looking back at the good times. In the video Demi can be seen wearing a 'Rock Chick' shirt and there is no love interest on purpose because she wanted it to be a 'girl independence' anthem.
Hazey's Focus: This was the peak Demi Lovato era if you ask me. I've listened to this one a hundred times and while it's never quite been one of my all-time favorite Demi songs, I love the dark sound of it. Just the first few notes and I'm quickly reminded of it and I'm in the zone. It's an amazing example of how much emotion she could put into a song vocally and how in my opinion her voice works best with this kind of pop-rock sound. Lines such as
"I wish that it would snow tonight" show that during the verses and I also love the playful way she sings
"moving on" and
"coming on". Then Demi absolutely slays it with the chorus by the firey delivery especially with
"we were so in love back then, now you listening, to what they say, don't go that way" and how that part rolls off the tongue.
So much emotion from Demi and yet
@Sally_Harper (2) sounds like someone standing in Subway asked if they want salt and pepper on their sandwich:
"No thanks."
I guess
@Mina (4) would've preferred an emotional whisper from Demi to get her point across? Wrong singer though:
"The entire chorus is...shouting."
No, more like way too much complaining @
Sprocky's BF:
"Way too much screaming."
Considering the song-writers she was working with at this time,
@Sprockrooster (8) wasn't far off:
"She does vocal build-ups so well. Did she work with Ryan Tedder? That would be quite the match isn't it?"
I don't know
@iheartpoptarts (8.5) maybe something like My So Called Life or something else moody like that?:
"Which 90s TV theme song does this sound like?"
@livefrommelbs (9) pretty much hits it out of the park with this analysis:
"One of my faves from the good sis Demi. It just builds and builds and builds and snatches my wig by the time the first chorus is done."
