Natalie from Cascada tested positive for COVID-19
Rewatching Eurovision 2016, and they really had us fooled that Australia was going to win it in the first half of the voting.
Dami Im is just so iconically boring during these little chats with Mans.
The Gasp in the arena I felt when she was only 4th in televoting, my heart crushed.
How have I missed this :(
Have we ever talked how Finland had three amazing bops in the 80's?
My favorite Finnish entry ever also was from the 80s!
If you didn‘t watch the first episode of Eurovision at home you missed this:

Did this video ever surface in better quality? I'm so tired of watching it in 240p and 360p.

The only Moroccan entry was precisely 40 years ago and it still bops!
Morocco having a tantrum and withdrawing because their first and only entry flopped is a bit iconic.
It was most likely because of Israel.
Israel had already been in Eurovision 7 years by that point, and should have hosted the year that Morocco debuted but declined because it coincided with Yom HaZikaron. Morocco actually has a relationship with Israel, unlike other Arab states. Israeli passport holders are allowed to enter Morocco.
(I'm staying with a Moroccan friend during lockdown and one of the first things I asked him about was Morocco and Eurovision).
so you KNOW where I AM
