  1. I hope so. Yet to see a Lena Philipsson one.

Also don't tell @Rhombus or @WowWowWowWow but I also bought a CD with a Måns Zelmerlöw song on it.

  2. I got my copy of MZW at the American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis! Good enough for me.

  3. I bought the Melodifestivalen 2007 soundtrack in a record shop in Atlasområdet, which is slightly less interesting.

  5. Not the kind of song you'd expect from a former Mr. Gay Sweden, is it?

  6. None of my co-workers are familiar with Hero by Charlotte Perrelli. Not even the two Swedes. Is it time for me to find another job?

  8. Who approved this

I barely care about them as a group—can you imagine how I feel about one going solo?

  9. Remember the last time this happened and FELIX SANDMAN nearly won Melfest?

  10. I love Google translate.

"Molières homeless comedy The imagined sickness is an entertaining operation and deal with the despotic and hypocondrian man, played by Mikael Persbrandt, who dominates his surroundings with enema and imaginary illnesses".

"A laughing party is promised when Mikael Persbrandt, Petra Mede, Ellen Jelinek, Johan Wahlström and Alexandra Zetterberg Ehn collide in this laxative comedy".

  16. This remains one of the most "courageous" Melfest entries ever.

Because, let's be honest, this was never going to qualify.

  17. Following from @WowWowWowWow's anecdote some time ago about finding Clara Henry's book in a public library, I found Clara Henry in a public library in Solna at the weekend.

She was talking about her new book, about patriarchy. At least, I think that's what it was about. It was all in Swedish. I didn't get to ask her any questions though, sorry to disappoint.

  18. Ok but it still offends me to my core that Sweden picked “This Is My Life” as their winner in 2010 when Emma Willis was right there
