So last evening there was a terrorist attack in the town I basically grew up in. A 14-year-old boy got killed, at least four people badly injured. I know these kind of attacks haven't exactly been a rare occurrence in recent years, and obviously every single one of them is a tragedy, but somehow this one feels so much scarier to me since it didn't happen "in a big city far away", but instead somewhere I know so well. Like, I went to school there, my first time going out, so many memories of my teenage years... I'm just scared, and really sad. I've spent all morning watching and reading news coverage, which probably isn't the healthiest thing to do right now, but oh well. I don't even know why I'm posting this here, I guess I just need to get it out of my system. Sorry for killing the mood y'all.

My nextdoor neighbour's neighbour is in their garden.
He's dressed up like a sniper... or like a pollice swat guy. Black combat outfit complete with helmet, face cover, bullet proof vest etc. He has what seems to be a fake machine gun.
A number of times now he's been acting out this scene where he runs up to his garden shed, knocks on the window with the gun and tells someone who isn't there to keep their hands where he can see them. He then runs around, opens the shed door in a way where he thinks he might get shot... and then shoots the fake gun.
