Time is a construct, pig!
Also, Nicole Dollanganger's Heart-Shaped Bed is already somewhere in my Top 10 but we're not getting the rest of the album until probably like...July so
I still find Tinashe deeply mediocre but I know I'm just not hearing what everyone else is.
Rae Morris and (to a lesser extent) Fickle Friends kinda did the damn thing for me too, but I don't believe you cared much for either ddd
Her 3 year old album is in my top 10 thanks to you so maybe that can provide you solace.
Everything from her mixtapes through Nightride is essentially faultless, the development-hell singles less so.
I’m with you, I was hoping it would make some sense when it came out because the pre release tracks felt a bit muddled but along the right lines and there was nothing even close to worthwhile that we hadn’t heard already.
And your belief would be correct.
Tove Styrke - Sway unless you’re shadily not counting that as an album.
I am counting it as an album, but this is a Best Of list.
If we're talking anticipated releases, I mean...it's stacked.
Carly Rae Jepsen probably
Fiona Apple (lol)
Sky Ferreira (L O L)
Azealia Banks (L O L O L O L)
Where is Ariana you homophobe
It's not due to be out for another 95 months but yes I'm also excited for it
I genuinely thought until this page that Nicole Dollanganger was some sort of forum joke on Nicole Scherzinger's name and I just couldn't figure it out.
The amount of times I've heard this joke
It wasn't even a joke!
MESS at me forgetting Christina on my list too, I'm a flop gay
I mean... off the top of my head for albums I'm at least going to listen to when they come out, if not straight up anticipating:
Florence + The Machine
Christine & The Queens
Tame Impala (who must be releasing something soon if he's headlining Citadel, which I'm attending)
Years & Years
The three songs I salvage from A Stan Is Bored
So there's still loads to look forward to regardless of the stuff I'm forgetting or is not even on my radar but eventually will be, but still.
