This is certainly... a post on forum.popjustice.com
Yes because Miranda covered topics like depression, suicide, and mental health and did it so well
I am not trying to be one of those people but this was incredibly unfunny. I feel like I am missing something.
Okay but Miranda was iconic tbh fuck off
I love Fleabag and enjoy(ed) Miranda (the last time I watched it which was probably almost ten years ago nn)
Fleabag is terrible. Even the attempt at emotional layers with the death of her friend etc. It was no good. Sally4Ever did that sort of post-Miranda 'quirky British woman with baggage' shtick so much better.
sick of gays who’s got some pussy for me to eat
Scrolling passed a Buttons performances captioned "Melody was let out of the cage!" or "Nicole was SHOOK LOLLL" for the 117th time in the PCD thread
I miss when that was genuinely funny and now messy, late af gays ruined it.
I know next to nothing about Fleabag, but that clip is boring and not funny. Context is apparently everything.
Fleabag gave me the British version of Girls. Couldn’t do it gals.
The more I see of Phoebe Wallington Bridgesmith... the more I detest her.
That Guardian article that dragged her for being middle class humour for whites was ahead of its time.
I think it was Emma Garland from VICE who also highlighted this. Aside from it being painfully un-funny, the whole thing reeks of white middle class privilege which I don’t and won’t fuck with. Sorry if that makes some people feel some type of way but it whatever.
Current hangover state
I also don’t find Fleabag that funny but damn, if I didn’t see someone with this exact hair cut this morning and scream.
I’ve never seen Fleabag but could you elaborate on this please? I’m genuinely interested as I was thinking about starting to watch!
Ddd they’re actually French. Her mind.
