Pre-2007. Whilst 2007-2011 was completely oversaturated with pop music (Britney/Gaga/Beyoncé/Katy Perry/Kesha/Rihanna/etc) and this was honestly the perfect time in music for me, there's way too many classics before that time period I could not give up.

I also think pop music has really taken a nosedive in the past few years and I struggle to get into a lot of new stuff that's clearly been created for the TikTokers, so I wouldn't trade that for some of the pop perfection we got in the 90s and early 00s.
