HMRC sent me a letter saying I owe them over £1k because of a mistake THEY made when I was in a job in 2019/2020. Sorry but why do I owe you money when it was your fault and you've told me 3-4 later? To top it off they said I have to pay it in full by June 19th. Beyond irked by this.

Give them a ring and see if you can pay it over a longer period beb they’re usually alright if you ask
