So happy to hear she's back. It'll probably do well but to these ears...its shite.

Sounds like Jessica Mauboy's Inescapable. Oh and btw she's lost a ton of weight so she looks really hot too

She looked better with the weight. Happy she's back singing rather than spending all her time blabbering about Beyonce on facebook.

Hear no, see no, speak no is still a cracker!

I absolutely love it. It's easily one of my fave songs this year.
I get the Inescapable comparison, although I think this is far superior.
It could be a hit worldwide I think.

She's looking better than ever too. It's sad to hear she almost gave up on music.
    Her voice is immense.

    Promising!

  6. Re: Ricki Lee - Raining Diamonds - New Single & Album

It's good but it sounds pretty badly mixed... muffled vocals kind of lost in the production...

It´s okay but it kinda sounds like a Saturdays or an Agnes reject

  8. Re: Ricki Lee - Raining Diamonds - New Single & Album

This is immense! Best Australian pop single this year. So glad she is back on track - signing to EMI has obviously helped.

  9. Re: Ricki Lee - Raining Diamonds - New Single & Album

I wish we got Hear No, See No, Speak No, to be honest.

  10. Re: Ricki Lee - Raining Diamonds - New Single & Album

I fucking love this. I agree with neon, it's the best Australian pop single this year. It's a little 'samey' but with enough Ricki-Lee authenticity to make it work.

The chorus just explodes. This will be a big hit for her.

I adore Ricki-Lee. She's a tie with Jess Maubouy as my favorite female Aussie performers.

I was just thinking the other day what happened to Hear No, See No, Speak No, but this is far better than either of the singles she released from that project.

Love it. A bit generic, but her voice makes up for it. I hope we'll get album this time.

This is produce by Billy Mann and Dave Shaw (aka Boy Blue).

The new album will be out in early 2012, it will have 14 tracks, with two songs from the unreleased album.

I demand an amazing Youngboyz remix for this too! With a high doze of drum machine.

  15. Re: Ricki Lee - Raining Diamonds - New Single & Album

    That was... painful.

  16. Re: Ricki Lee - Raining Diamonds - New Single & Album

Apparently at #4 in itunes now.... though saying that it was at #25 one week yet only equated to #60 on ARIA.

I dont get why there is no official video yet. Surely if EMI signed her up, they would get all stuff like that done before putting it out there for their debut release.

How is it doing on radio?

  17. Re: Ricki Lee - Raining Diamonds - New Single & Album

I actually thought that was good, even with a few bum notes.

  18. Re: Ricki Lee - Raining Diamonds - New Single & Album

The video is coming in a few weeks...

She performed again last night in a club, also singing "Can't Touch It", and she delivered an great show!

"Can't Touch It" should have been a world smash hit.
