I absolutely hate how low the key was to We Found Love.
It’s peak irony that the resentment seems to be toward herself because she can’t seem to come up with anything good enough to release.I’d rather she never return to music, than do so with a heightened sense of resentment.
Oh my god
It's so confusing to me because we've heard from multiple sources over the last eight years that she has been working on new music, yet she is obviously completely apathetic towards that side of her career so... what is the truth?
Sadly I do feel that the hype is non existent. And sort of feel the time has passed for her.
I have been to all her tours, and I noticed a significant difference at the Diamonds World Tour. Her breath control, her energy and stage presence for sure declined.
Then forward three years to the Anti Tour. I thought her voice quality improved. But at the show I attended, she did not sing one full song without stopping multiple times, or pointing the mic to the crowd.
Im surprised it’s not been discussed, but I genuinely feel there’s some vocal chord damage present.
Last night sort of confirmed that for me, her voice was very low, raspy and breathy. And overall poor, she cannot sing over a certain note now. It was incredibly disappointing for the fanbase last night, 8 years away and she’s declined even more.
I genuinely would be surprised if she ever releases another record.
I'm not even a Madonna fan but good lord she knows how to work. Talk about a grafter, even the eras that weren't huge or slightly missed the mark were still incredible that she tried something new, Madonna is a genuine music legend. This is where the respect for Madonna, Mariah, Celine etc comes from, they dabbled in other areas to make the money but the music was always the main focus for them. The most annoying thing with fame and stardom is that artists get so full of themselves and forget who made them a star. It's us, fans and consumers of music. They are more concerned with making more money, more, more more...gimme more. It's like honey, you are a billionaire, you are not gonna starve today, tomorrow or in about 50 years. How about getting back down to earth and do some music instead of all that other shit. If i had a voice like some of our favorite popstars i would fucking make new music and release shit all the time. In 50 years, your leagcy is not gonna be new shade of a lipstick or new line of underwear, it's gonna be the music you left for new generations to discover. I mean, look at Madonna, the mother never stops working and she could retire if she wanted to.
Get used to it. She’s 36. They’ll come down even more in 5-10 years if she’s performing then.I absolutely hate how low the key was to We Found Love.
