I remember loving Rehab as an album track but by the time it was a single I'd lost all interest really. It's a great song, very epic sounding, but maybe part of the problem was that the entire backing track was used by JT again on that Esmee Denters song.

I've never liked Shut Up and Drive, a radio station over here STILL uses it as its theme, four years after its release! It's just tacky and boring imo. I do love Take a Bow though, even if I could do without hearing it again!

REALLY?! I should have been a part of this why the hell do you guys even have 52 Single Rating games going on the same time?

OK, so let's carry on the countdown...
I have a feeling today's result will please a lot of you.

19. Rehab (6.96)

Rihanna_Rehab.jpg

Released as the seventh and final single from Good Girl Gone Bad, this song featured guest vocals from Justin Timberlake (who also starred in the music video for the song) and was produced by Timbaland. The song went on to recieve moderate chart success but failed to make the impact of previous Good Girl Gone Bad singles, as a result of the album's phenomenal worldwide sales, reaching the Top 10 in 6 countries worldwide and the Top 20 in an additional seven countries including the UK and US, where it charted at 16 and 18 respectively. It was performed at the American Music Awards in November 2008.

18. California King Bed (7.0)

This single is the future fourth release from Loud. The rock orientated track has so far reached the Top 20 in Australia and New Zealand, prior to it's official release. It was chosen through fan voting via Twitter inwhich the song beat Cheers (Drink To That), Fading and Man Down. The song was performed on American Idol and also at the ACM awards with Sugarland frontwoman Jennifer Nettles. Reviewers noted Rihanna's strong vocals in the track and praised the melody.

Rehab should be SO much higher up!CKB....well its not really out properly yet so I don't know about that as a single.

If I could, I'd post all the gifs in the world to display my happiness Rehab is gone. Nothing but gold left (except S&M but that was inevitable).

California King Bed before S&M. I can't even. I'm glad Rehab out I do like it though. What is with some of these collaborations. Run This Town is awful and so is all of the lights I'm expecting them to come at 17 and 16

So we've reached the 7 mark... and S&M is still here. This means someone gave it a 10. I'm coming to get you, I know you're out there!

Anyway, I was very fond of Rehab at the time, but, looking back, it really is a weak song.

I gave "Run This Town" a 9, and "All Of The Lights" a 10, so I'm glad they're doing well so far. Gutted about "Rehab" though, it's still rather brilliant.

I couldn't be happier at the cut throat elimination of "Shut Up And Drive". It's terrible.

I'll join you in that quest.

I might have.. or a 9..
To me it's the best thing on Loud and her best song/single since If I Never See Your Face Again.

Well, I can agree with you on 'If I Never', it is one of the best things she has put her name on.

At least that's something.
I'll admit S&M might score lower within a few years time, since I considered Shut Up & Drive a 9 in 2007 as well, and am pretty much over it now..
I know it's not a masterpiece but it's just so damn catchy.. plus I assume the lyrics aren't as distracting for a non-native english speaker (though I cán understand every word.. but imagining them in my own language would make them a lot more cringeworthy)

(And I feel so good about it as well. I love S&M! Muhahahaha)

My two least favorites that were still in, are out!

So thrilled!

I gave S&M a 10 also. Please, save me the cringeworthy "Rihanna is capable of so much better she is so talented and sang great on American Idol the other day and S&M is trash but we're glad it got #1 cause some of her other good songs didn't."

It's really fucking tedious.

On with the show and all that.
After tommorow I'll be posting 1 song a day for 15 days - just to drag the suspense out a bit further, and to avoid a day where I'd have to post 3 songs in a row, were I to continue doing it this way.

17. Pon De Replay (7.19)

Released as Rihanna's debut single and taken from her first album Music of the Sun, this song reached Number 2 in both the UK and the US and reached the Top 5 in an additional 13 countries. It recieved critical praise for it's "dancehall-lite beats and reggae vocal cadence". Rihanna was merely 17 at the time of the song's release.

16. All of The Lights (7.25)

kanye-west-all-of-the-lights.jpg

Taken as the fourth single from Kanye West's fifth studio albumMy Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, this song has recieved moderate chart success worldwide reaching the Top 20 in both the UK and US, with positions of 15 and 19, respectively. The song also features vocals from several other recording artists, including John Legend, The-Dream, Elly Jackson, Alicia Keys, Fergie, Kid Cudi and Elton John although Rihanna is credited as the lead featured vocalist.
