Oooh an anti-Anti one. Listen I don't think its unlistenable, its a good album but nowhere near the magnum opus everyone is making it out to be. Unapologetic has some real, big gems.

Anti is a good album, but nowhere near a perfect one. The fact she retired from music after releasing it created this sort of reverence for it and people now talk about it like it's some kind of magnum opus she left us with before saying goodbye to the music scene, when it's really just a cute record with some great songs on it... like all of her other records.
I'm just happy I was able to buy the vinyl for it without resorting to spending £400 on the boxset. The packaging is really exquisite.
I'll forever be salty that Bitch Better Have My Money didn't get a place on the Anti tracklist, especially as it slots in so perfectly from a sonic perspective. I mean, the fact that it's approaching a billion streams despite being an 'orphan' track...just imagine if it was part of a full record. A banger!
