It's been confirmed by The Metropolitan Police, the death is described as unexplained.

This is absolutely awful. A tragic waste of talent. And the worst thing about it is that it's not surprising at all.

This is just terrible, why was no one helping her?I don't get it, this woman needed forced help, and it's like everyone just stared and did nothing about it. I'm sure they tried, but still.

Shit like this pisses me off.

They tried to make her go to rehab. I know that sounds like a sick joke but this whole thing is a completely sick joke. To what extent can you help someone who's hellbent on denying it?

I don't even know, I just feel like there could have been something. I mean, look at how her people just let her go perform a few weeks back, despite knowing she wasn't able to. They just trotted her out, knowing full well it was going to be a disaster.

It's just eerie now that she is apart of the "27" club.

Wow. We should have all seen it coming, but she was such a brilliant star and she had such potential. I can't even believe it's really happened.

Condolences to her friends and family.

Doesn't that include Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin? I wonder if it's really a curse...
