he/him
I figure it makes sense to have a new thread since this is impending.
Everything we know so far:
-The album is due to start up in “just months”.
-The album is produced with DJ Koze and was worked on alongside Róisín Machine from 2018 onwards.
-Róisín said the album will be unexpected to her fans.

Well, wait till they they hear the next one [album] – it’s gonna fucking do their heads in again! The next one’s gonna be big in America. Trust me. Because it’s so raw and modern and fucking beautiful. You know, it’s just a momentous record.
The people who’ve heard it are really interested in it, so I think it’s gonna be a bit of a smasher. It’s gonna blow your mind. It’s a whole other world. It’s fuckin’ tops down, LA… bouncing up and down on the cars. Hold tight!
I think the music that I’m doing with Koze now, for the next album… there are bangers on it, but even when they’re bangers, when they’re up at 120 BPM, they have something about hip-hop in them. Everything I’ve done with him does... He’s mad, mad brilliant. And then I’m a bit of a wild card... But because of that, it’s the most pop music I’ve ever made, ever. But it doesn’t mean that it’s at all compromised by that; it’s lifeblood.
More than anyone, he makes my voice an icon. It wouldn’t matter if I sold two records in my whole career or 200 million, he wants me — he wants the sound of my voice. It’s all about his ears; if he doesn’t like it, he has to get out of the room. If he’s in a club, and another DJ comes on and he starts playing ordinary dance music, Koze’s gotta get out of there, he can’t. I really appreciate how much he loves my voice, he really does love it. And he prioritises it in the mix — everything has to be built around it, like a couture dress.
Sometimes - like when I’m working with Koze on the next album - it’s hard to have laser focus (on one sound), because it’s an experimental process. It’s a completely modern, sharpened process. He has modern preoccupations about hooks that aren’t necessarily in a natural song structure.
So far it’s totally unique to anything either of us have ever done - it’s not like stuff Koze usually does - it’s not like stuff I usually do. That’s all I can say about it.
