I saw that Lucky had gone before I watched the episode last night and couldn't believe it, but honestly given what she presented, she was deservedly in the bottom. I then wondered why they hadn't just... edited around any lipsync deficiencies and saved her... but then I watched it and realised it was over the moment her shoes came flying off, deservedly so. She also didn't know the words. I feel really bad for her; she's clearly very talented but this episode was a unique combination of foolishly trying new things for the first time on television, and the task being out of her skillset. Naomi had me screaming on the Pit Stop when she did the impression of her reveal. A shame!
Good episode overall! I'm so glad we're out of congenial era of Drag Race. It's so much better when these girls hate each other. Lexi sicking the producers on Hormona is a scream. She was tearing at those stones like they had called her a whore. To me, that's cinema. I'm also surprised at how generally proficient the cast is at outfit construction; personal taste aside, the bottom two were the clear bottom two in a line up of everyone else being pretty good. Even Kori's dress was just off-brief rather than being a poorly made mess. All this drama and we haven't even had a group challenge yet? I'm wet.
