What's the consensus on Race Chaser these days? I saw they finished up Season 7 and made a short lived start on Season 8 and Willam's bitterness feels like it's really escalated and with it, Alaska's tight lipped diplomacy. For a fresh season I can only imagine it's borderline unlistenable.
Haven't listened, but I am really tired of any current season review podcast/video series/tweet thread. There's just too many and no one really gives any insight worth listening to. Bob and Monet are a scream though, but that is because it's them-- not because it's a Drag Race review.
Love those girls. Criminal we haven’t seen them on the show yet.
I'm so obsessed with IMHO and am so glad they moved to LA, I can't wait to go see them live at some point. And yeah, they would bring such wit and charm to Drag Race, if they ever got on.
I'm mostly glad that the IMHO queens moved to LA because the Chicago scene is dreadful and severely under appreciated them and under-booked them. We stay losing here, which is why we're on year 2 of there being no Chicago queens on the show. (Except for Aura, who, of course, also moved away and no longer lives here)
I actually hate that the IMHO girls moved to LA only because it lessens the chance of Aunty Chan being back on. I miss her dearly.
I haven't really noticed this at all? If anything, in the couple of years I've been listening, I feel like Alaska's actually looser with her opinions and more critical of Ru/the show than she's ever been (I suspect the AS7 snub may have played a part in this), and whilst Willam has occasional off weeks, I haven't noticed any consistent change in them.
Whilst the present day seasons are always less fun, the pair of them actually seemed particularly upbeat with this new season.
I could barely stand their first episode of Canada Vs the World. Their (Willam mostly) disdain for anything that is not American is tiring.

I feel like I've been listening to a completely different podcast to you all... Alaska and Willam stanned those Vs The World girls so hard it was tiring at times, and when they didn't I usually agreed with them. I don't go a day without listening to Race Chasers (yes I have looked for medical assistance) but Sibling Rivalry on the other hand... unbearable. The way they can't stop picking on each other is so annoying, besides Bob's constant bad mood and Monet's blaséness. I love them on their own but together they emmanate negative energy.
They do such a good job letting the queens showcase their own talents in the premiere... That will quickly be squashed the second they force them onto a stupid script or a dumb improv theme. So i'm excited to see more of these queens but i'm also dreading the challenges.
We better get a LSFYL to Plastic Doll with the twins (complete with tears!) or I’m gonna fucking riot.
