It does irk me a bit that they called out Bimini’s verse only. Imagine the impact if 4 queer voices won a BAFTA together for an iconic moment.

I love Bimini but Tayce not getting recognition for that iconic verse?

 

This was cute.

 

It’s sad the other 3 girls didn’t get nominated too but Bimini’s verse was literally everywhere for weeks so it’s deserved.

 

Obviously Bimini's verse is the definite highlight but it would have been nice to see them all nominated in this case, given it felt and still feels like a group effort in making it such a moment.

A big part of what makes the track work is the presence of four distinct dialects that make each part its own moment (A'whora didn't really bring this to the table but at least that overly sexed-up affection basically did the same trick).
