Am I wrong for liking Arriety? She killed it today, she brings her to runway everytime, she is polished, and I don’t mind her confidence and personality… Crystal and Sam on the other hand, can’t connect with them at all.
Besides her, also enjoying Lex, Onya, Suzie, and Lydia.

Yeah Law was uncharacteristically easy on the girls.

I agree the best runway this week was the fish. It was so specific and engrossing, even though I had no idea what most of them were. The matching photos were amazing!
I like her less and less every week to be honest

I am loving the season (the drama is the best in years) but I actually don’t appreciate the drag of any of these queens except for Butthole. I will instantly forget them all as soon as they are not on TV.
(I’m actually already forgetting most of it - I have a hard time with all the names)

Yeah I don't feel like any of these girls bar Lydia and Suzie have any sort of perspective or anything new to say. I like Crystal, Arietty, and Acacia, but despite some standout moments, nothing is really clicking this season. There's so many queens here that are just worse versions of queens that have come before (Sam), or girls that think they're the second coming of Violet Chachki but they're giving Nina West. We need some new writers/producers to really give the series a makeover.
Kori's talent is his bitchy confessionals. Other than that, the same swimsuit silhouette and runway presentation for 6 episodes now. Exhausted.
Also, it was Hormona's time to go. We all warmed to her after how mean the girls were to her in the first few weeks but there was absolutely nothing to take from there. Her face on each runway being "Wow, this is the first time I do drag. I hope you like it. It's fun! Hihihi" sent me.
Same thing for Acacia.

Time for the BEST FICTION Ball Breakdown!
So the first category I only took into account if it was more than just a bathing suit and if it looked good. Like we need some creativity, the girls who just walked out in a swimsuit were lazy as hell. I think Arrietty obviously looked the best but I did also like Acacia's look for this one.
Second category was by far the best of the ball, almost everyone had a successful look except Lydia, Acacia & Hormona. Hormona reused the same tired silhouette and I think having her against the other girls who used much more literal interpretations of the sea creatures worked against her Acacia & Lydia. Lydia's idea was at least creative, but it was so badly done to me. Again Arrietty chewed them up.
Third category... a mess, one of the worst balls. Crystal had my favourite look, and I think that is just because pink & yellow is my favourite colour combo ever. Arrietty's was good too but the length was a bit weird and made the outfit look more casual than fashion, kinda like a swimsuit coverup or something Taylor Swift would wear on the Lover Tour. I know Sam Star was in the top on the show, but her look was on the same level as Jorgeous on AS9, it was a bra, a corset and a piece of fabric wrapped around her waist.. But with trash bags? A mess.
So by my metrics the top 3 would be Arrietty, Crystal Envy and then either Jewels or Onya. The bottom would be Lydia with either Suzie, Kori or Hormona. I'd probably omit Suzie simply because that just might be my own personal taste not agreeing with hers rather than her producing a genuinely bad package. And if Lexi doesn't give her Jenna Marbles' choker up to god... Why was it in 2 out of 3 looks?
Either way Arrietty wins and Hormona is going home cause you can't convince me Lydia wouldn't devour this lipsync.

The way Kori is a literal vacuum of talent and charisma, and without any of the campery that made it so easy to ironically stan Joella’s delusions. She truly might be the worst Queen to ever walk the runway.

I’ve come to the conclusion that although Kori is great in the confessionals, there is precious little else keeping her there. I think one of the main reasons she’s there is because she’s Plane Jane’s drag sister - the only difference being Jane is good at Drag Race (although I find her overrated).
I’ve not watched the ball yet, but the RDR Live challenge Untucked was great TV. How any of those safe queens thought that Suzie wasn’t on for a win, I just don’t understand. Being delusional obviously wasn’t just Joella’s specialty.
Lydia kinda turned it out in the lip sync, which was a surprise. It’s also a shame they wasted the lever pull on Arrietty.
Onya is the one beat in this season from my perspective.
