My guess is that production saw an oppotunity to get rid of Crystal as she basically had the same storyline as Sam.

You know Snatch Game was bad when Lexi was put in the top... just because. Just because they didn't have 3 viable people for top 3.
Crystal has bored me to tears for weeks now so totally fine with her leaving. Especially now that the design challenges are most likely over. I don't really think she's been making good tv.

This whole episode was romper room fuckery, the level of unprofessionalism - far too much. Terrible character choices. And i'm sick of people choosing made up type characters like Cupid. Like just pick a celebrity. That's the challenge.
