RuPaul's Drag Race Season 15 + General Discussion

Trinity's look didn't need that bow on the neck.

The winner for me was Jaida PURE EXCELLENCE Hall.

She also won the lip sync.

I confess that Trinity has seriously won me over this season. It's not just that she rises to every challenge, she's also one of the funniest queens in there. She's often a highlight of the plunger sequences whether she's giving or receiving, and she gives great back and forth with the others in the werk room. Plus that Snatch Game was genius. Like Jaida she serves an astronomically high standard of drag excellence while also being naturally incredibly funny and a pleasure to have on screen in every scene she's in.

I've always enjoyed Trinity. She's had dodgy moments (the roast, that "You Spin Me Round" lipsync, her admitting she can't write lyrics to save her life, + more) but her talking heads have been funny, on the nose, and perceptive. Her drag series of recreating looks was a smash, and she's demonstrated that she does indeed have a heart of gold. I think what's great about her is what we first saw on S9: she may have had the cutthroat energy of a pageant queen, but she grew outside of her box and met the challenges asked of her. I respect someone willing to grow and to unveil their layers, which I believe that she's done, but also someone who can talk shit and not run from it. She's chill to me.

I know it’s probably been mentioned twenty million times but what’s the reason behind the different outfits during the lip syncs again?

Also.

This is a post I can't stop thinking about since she posted it. It's often that we as people exhibit the things that we journey in search of. To hear people say that Trinity is maternal in her relationships only underscores the magnitude of her loss, and how she's absorbed it into her drag spaces. I find her such a magnetic force, and I'm glad she's been on so much to further develop how we're able to understand and process her talent.

I love Willow Pill but she was giving nothing in Pit Stop this week.

I read this post before watching and I was worried it might not be a great episode, but I really loved Willow and thought her sense of humor came through well. She’s just soooo naturally charismatic and entertaining, I would watch her do anything. Reminds me of Katya.

Thank goodness too cause this season of Pit Stop has had some clunkers.

aha I should have been more specific, I meant like all the queens have new outfits or wigs from what they left the stage in
Most of them change during Untucked into something more flexible. The time lapse is very long so they have the time to get fitted into something else.

I know it’s just the queen never really changed before this unless they were top/bottom two to lip sync so was just wondering if there was a specific reason they all changed,
