RuPaul's Drag Race Season 15 + General Discussion

They were starting to give Ariel Versace levels of ‘bratz doll/pop princess’ repetitiveness in their looks but my god can the twins paint, those mugs are blended and always flawless.

I’m kinda living for them being the central arc of the season so far with their self absorbed energy making the other girls slowly implode. It’s giving very much Laganja. I hope Spice can deliver for a few more weeks atleast.

Sibling Rivalry has just done an episode with Todrick, released on their Patreon, so only paying members currently have access. They received a fair amount of criticism pretty quickly, and in response, they’ve been blocking Patreons who have been leaving comments. Refunded, can’t rejoin etc. Monét has since posted, saying they’ll host a video call with Patreons to discuss it.

In the words of Bob, this is wild.

Wow. I'm interested in the angle and whether they actually legitimately challenge him, but given the way that you're describing the fall out from it, I'm guessing no. In which case, what a fuck up.

Todrick is so insanely toxic it's scary. If it's not to take him to task, I do not know why any high profile personality would want to associate with him.

When I was in New York last spring I had the unfortunate experience of physically bumping into Todrick in Times Sq - this was after his CBB stint as well. He wasn't looking where he was going and called me a jackass for being in his way. Such an asshole. I never liked him but that mild interaction made me like him even less.

Both he and Tom Daley are on my shit list and they both know why!!!

Anyone who’s a Sibling Rivalry patron knows they both are good friends with Todrick so not sure why anyone would be surprised and I’m sure the comments deleted and people blocked were saying foul shit, as a lot of these fans get WAY too comfortable bashing black people in particular. Paying Bob and Monet $5 a month to listen to their content doesn’t entitle any fan to dictate who they can be friends with or have on their show. Just skip the content you’re not interested in, like I will do with that post and did the multiple times they had Cracker on their podcast.

Agree that isn’t a place for hateful comments - here are some examples of comments that have been deleted, which, whilst blunt, aren’t particularly dissimilar in tone to that of the podcast itself. Also agree that being a paying customer shouldn’t entitle people to dictate the content at hand, but on the flip side, people should also be able to express their opinions and feedback on the content they receive for their payments - especially when it concerns someone who has demonstrated very questionable behaviour on many occasions. I’m not a Patreon so I can’t say with certainty, but it would appear from accounts that most of the blocked Patreons were focussed on the content appearing on the podcast, and not the friendship itself.

I'm not a patron, so I didn't see any of the comments, but are people dictating who they can be friends with? Or are they just unhappy at one particular guest who is almost universally disliked (for good reason). They can be friends with Todrick, but it does seem pretty short sighted to put out something involving him after his behaviour over the last week, let alone the last few years, then be shocked that people don't like it. If they're paying customers they're entitled to share an opinion when they're not happy with the content they're paying for.

I'm not trying to excuse any horrible behaviour or inappropriate comments from the fans, as I haven't seen them, so I don't know how bad any of them were.

EDIT: Looking at that example above, they're completely off their fucking head if they didn't expect comments like that. And they think that's over the line? Do they listen to themselves??

Was walking through Tottenham Court Road earlier and physically bumped into someone who was looking at the maps on their phone instead of looking at where they were going. Turned out to be Owen Jones and it was the location mapper on grindr on his phone.

Baby, there has to become a point where it becomes a problem, and you maybe need to get your eyes rechecked?
