RuPaul's Drag Race *SPOILERS*

Weren't people theorizing that Plane was gonna use her potion to sabotage Nymphia, i.e. making her leave the stage before being awarded the win? That seems more likely here.

Weird to prioritize blocking someone from a win over saving yourself.

Although I can imagine Jane telling Q she’s not worried about being in the bottom with her so maybe it’ll be a light gag nn.

Just looking ahead to the schedule of Ru-helmed seasons this year, and it's basically wall-to-wall throughout 2024:

Drag Race US - January 5th - (largely deducible) April 19th

All Stars 9 - Last year's season started on May 12th and ended on July 21st. I'm not sure if it's been confirmed how many episodes we're getting, but we can perhaps assume it's 12. Unclear whether they'll do a double episode upload like last year, or follow suit with S16 and go with a single episode premiere. Given the below information, to give a slight bit of breathing room between seasons, I would imagine they'll kick this off around May 3rd, lasting until around July 12th. I believe the promo has already been shot.

Global All Stars - Rumoured promo is gladiatorial/Olympic to tie in with Paris 2024, which kicks off on July 26th. Not sure how on the nose they'll want to be with the date, but I think it's largely safe to say it'll be around this time. I believe it's 12 episodes as well, which would take this to around Oct 12th, pending starting date and no double premieres etc.

Then you have UK vs. The World S2 airing from Feb 9th - March 29th, and UK S6, which will likely air from Sep 26th - Nov 28th. Down Under normally airs from late July to mid-September, which would be largely concurrent with Global All Stars by the sounds of things, but it seems like Ru's no longer fronting this part of the franchise.

The only month this year that Ru's not going to be presenting Drag Race is December, which was largely the same as last year, but she'll be in more episodes this year given that Global AS appears to be four episodes longer than Down Under normally is. I think it's going to clock in at 58 episodes presented, which is somewhat hilariously more than there are weeks in the year.

Queen of flips faltering before she vanquishes Dawn, we truly lost

Does Plane have a crash and burn moment in the final few episodes? Because her track record is essentially spotless so far, so it’s interesting that she seemingly gets cut at the final when they narrow it from three to two, and I can’t imagine she would do a terrible performance at the end or anything.

I’ve been wondering this too. Is it possible that, despite her redemption arc in the edit, they just didn’t see her as a viable winner because of the villain narrative?

I think on a season with a top 3/top 4, she would’ve been a shoo-in for the finale, where they could’ve gauged audience reception. But under the circumstances of pre-filming and narrowing down to a top 2, they might’ve been reluctant to commit to a controversial choice? Purely speculation.

As far as we know Nymphia never places in the Bottom 2? So maybe the week Morphine is sent home is Plane in the bottom 2. Then with Q being sent home, I can't imagine it being Sapphira or Nymphia in the bottom, so would Plane also send her home to make it to Top 3? If that is the case, I imagine that seals her fate as 3rd place.

I agree. If it was a normal finale, she might have got a chance based on social media reaction, which they do surprisingly bother to look at - partially just so they don't receive backlash for crowning the wrong person.

But I think just based off season long storylining, they don't want to crown someone with a villain moment. And they're probably already foaming at the mouths to cast her across Mistress in an All Stars.

Reddit's saying the Bathroom Design is actually a paired win for Jane + Sapphira and that the lipsync song is Megan thee Stallion's Body.

Win - High - Safe - Safe - Safe - High - High - High - Win - Win - Win has to be one of the most impressive runs ever for a long season. I know the fans are more behind Nymphia but Sapphira not winning this season would be an absolute travesty.
